I've been teaching many regular classes since 2014 and am consistently continuing to study.
I’ve studied for years in the field of anatomy, which helps inform how I may respond to different students within the same class.
My teaching is very down to earth, encouraging a more profound connection of our physical body to our centre through movement. In turn, this creates a deeper awareness of oneself at other levels.
My influences are from so many people and ways of moving, notably Gary Carter of Natural Bodies(who is also my mentor), Tias Little, Thomas Hanna, Qigong, Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga.
I co-founded Tranquility Yoga Studio in 2022 but now teach independantly as Claire McLellan Yoga.
Yoga and I have been together nearly my entire life, and I am eternally grateful for this journey into embodiment which is never ending. The more we know the more we realise we don't. Lets grow together.
